We’re firmly committed to environmentally responsible business.
We’re very aware of how everything we do, take, make and waste effects nature’s balance and ultimately our future. So we build processes throughout our business that support the environment.
In 2006, we were among the first eleven Wellington based companies to enrol in the crown research institute Landcare Research Enviro-Mark program. We achieved gold level status in just 18 months, well ahead of the two year programme aim. We’re also a member of the Sustainable Business Network.
Our continuing Enviro-Mark efforts confirm we have:
- Documented and measurable environmental systems.
- Resource efficiency programmes to minimise solid waste, the use of energy and water, and raw materials.
- Implemented environmental procurement policies for suppliers and contractors.
- Relevant environmental accords, best practice and codes of conduct
Our offshore production facilities are managed with a strong commitment to our core social and environmental policies, and quality assurance. We have our own employee in China to oversee production and ensure it stays in line with our values.
